Why prayer?

Prayer is simply coming to God.

We don’t need to have the right words or know exactly what to say. God invites us to come as we are.

We pray to a God who is good, loving and faithful; a God who sees us, knows us and cares about every part of our lives. He is not distant or indifferent. He invites us to draw near to Him, to bring our joys and our struggles, our hopes and our fears, and to trust them to Him.

We pray because God is able to do far more than we can do ourselves. Nothing is too difficult for Him, and no situation is beyond His reach. We may not always understand how or when He will answer, but we can come with confidence, knowing that He hears us and that He is faithful.

Cardiff Prayer Room is a place where you can bring what is on your heart and know that you don’t have to face it alone. Whether you are going through something difficult, seeking direction, praying for someone you love, or simply longing to know God more deeply, there is a place for you here.

We want to stand alongside people in prayer — sharing their burdens, bringing them before God, and believing together for His help, His peace and His purposes.

Above all, our desire is to point people towards the God who hears, the God who cares, and the God who is able.

How does it work?

Submit your request online. You can choose to remain anonymous and decide whether your request is shared publicly on our Prayer Wall or kept private with our prayer team.

Every request is prayed for by members of our prayer team with care, compassion and confidentiality.
